1 sheet Lovely printed paper UW-004
1 sheet Lively printed paper UW-005
1 sheet Rainy printed paper UW-006
1 sheet Peace diecut paper UW-007

1 set Paper Frames UW-111
1 set 12” Laser Cut Strips UW -112
1 set Journal Deck UW-114
1 set Journal Tablet UW-115
Other Supplies:
2 sheets kraft cardstock
Tools: paper trimmer, adhesive, scissors, Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher Stapler and staples, ColorBox Fluid Chalk Ink: Chestnut Roan and Dark Brown and American Crafts Slick Writer – brown – fine
NOTES:
— ink all printed papers pieces and quote stickers before adhering; I used Chestnut Roan on the lighter colored papers and Dark Brown on the stickers and darker colored papers. Be careful not to ink down the center edges, {where you cut them apart}, of the two papers you need to cut to fit across the pages, you want them to look like a continual piece.
— measurements are listed with the HORIZONTAL measurement FIRST; for papers with definite directions, be sure you have the turned the right way BEFORE you cut.
— If you did not, or don’t plan on attending the free make & take to create the journaling pocket, please see additional instructions at the end on how to complete it.
Directions:
Cutting:
Peaceful printed paper: cut 1 – 8 X 4 piece {dark blue polka dot paper}
Colorful printed paper: cut 1 – 11 ½ X 3 ½ piece, then cut apart at 6 ½ to fit across both pages {stripe}
Happy printed paper: cut 1 – 8 X 8 piece {aqua with white daisy}
Lovely printed paper: cut 1 – 6 X 11 ½ piece {lime damask}
Lively printed paper: cut 1 – 12 X 10 piece, then cut 1” off the LEFT side to fit across both pages {burgundy bird}
Rainy printed paper: cut 1 – 4 X 11 ½ piece {graph paper} – reserve remainder to mat your photos on page 2 - {mine measure: 3 ¾ X 5 ¾ and 5 X 4 ¼}
Peace diecut paper: cut between the motifs of the diecut as shown to create a “corner” piece {make sure you have it turned correctly so it fits into the bottom left corner – the left and bottom borders of the diecut are left intact.}
Assembly:
PAGE ONE:
1) Adhere the 6 X 11 ½ piece of Lovely about ¼” from the left, top and bottom edges of 1 of the kraft cardstocks.
2)Adhere the 4 X 11 ½ piece of Rainy to the right of the Lovely paper, aligning it top and bottom.
3) Adhere the 1X 10 piece of Lively that was cut off along the right side of the cardstock about 1” from the top of the page.
4) Adhere the 6 ½ X 3 ½ piece of the Colorful paper about 1 ¾” up from the bottom edge of the page, and having it even with the right side of the cardstock.
5) Layer and adhere the shaped oval diecut frame over the orange polka dot rectangular frame {leave a little space open at the top left to insert card later}, then adhere the frame to the layout about 1 ½” down from the top and 3 ½” from the left side. {be sure you add your photo first, OR leave the frame open along the top so you can slide one in later!}
6) Adhere the Peace diecut corner so that it covers the left and bottom edges of the Lovely and Rainy printed papers. {small dabs of liquid glue dabbed along the border and to a few of the larger motifs makes this easy – or you can staple it on in places}
7) Cut pieces of the large burgundy circle strip {from the Laser Cut Strips pack} to fit at the top and bottom of the layout to cover where the Lovely and Rainy printed papers meet. They should go from the bottom and top of the layout to just meet the top and bottom of the orange polka dot frame. Adhere them to the layout {like with the diecut paper} and then add a few staples at the top and bottom to embellish if desired.
8) Insert and adhere card from Journal Deck at top left of frame – under left corner of blue oval frame as shown.
9) Adhere 1 large 3D flower and 2 small 3D flowers at top left corner of frame as shown.
10) Adhere “LIFE” layered chipboard sticker at bottom right of frame as shown. {wait to do this if you haven’t yet inserted a photo in the frame}.
11) Adhere an “I” block alphabet letter along the bottom of the Colorful and Lively paper as shown.
PAGE TWO:
1) Lay second kraft cardstock beside completed page1, making sure that the top and bottom edges are even, then adhere the 11 X 10 piece of Lively paper against the right side, making sure it lines up with the matching piece on page 1.
2) Adhere 5 X 3 ½ piece of Colorful paper against the right side, making sure it lines up with the matching piece of page 2.
3) Adhere “S” block letter as shown, lining it up with the “I” on page 1.
4) Adhere the 8 X 8 piece of Happy paper in the top right corner about ¼” from the top and right edges.
5) Adhere the 8 X 4 piece of Peaceful paper right above the Colorful paper, starting about ¼” from the left edge of the page.
6) Layout out the Rainy paper photo mats and the journal pocket* as shown, once you are sure of the placement, adhere all 3 pieces.
7) Adhere 1 large 3D flower to the upper right side of the vertical photo as shown {wait to do this if you haven’t yet added a photo}
8)Adhere “GOOD” in block letters along bottom of Lively paper as shown.
Finishing:
To add definition to the stickers, I used a brown pen to outline the 3D flower stickers, the “LIFE” chipboard sticker and the block letters. I did not outline them where they crossed my photos.
— If you didn’t make the journaling pocket, here are the directions you will need to complete it.
JOURNAL POCKET:
1) Cut 1 – 6 X 12 piece of Lively printed paper. With the damask pattern side up, fold up ½” along the bottom edge. Then turn paper over so that the polka dot side is up and fold up bottom at 4 ¼”. Fold down the top edge of the paper to just meet the top edge of the bottom folded piece. Glue polka dot “tab” down, and also glue the top fold in place. Then apply a thin line of glue along the sides of the pocket.
2) Cut 3 – 6” pieces of the Lazer Cut Strips – 1 small and 2 large. Adhere the small piece along the polka dot “tab” at the top of the pocket, and adhere the large pieces along the bottom as shown. Staple in place at sides {close to the edges} if desired.
3) Apply quote stickers as shown, and then add large 3D flower sticker at the bottom right of pocket as shown.
4) Insert 2 journal sheets from journal tablet in pocket.
NOTE:
— You can cut slits in your page protector so that journaling sheets can be removed and read.
