better late than never!

i’d like to share the projects i designed for REMINISCE for CHA…

Reminisce introduced several new lines at this past CHA…

JETSETTERS 2… all new designs of 3D stickers for all 50 states plus DC; perfect for all your travel photos! i did these mini 6 X 6 scrapbook pages…

Graduation Celebration 2011… a very sophisticated Graduation line; perfect for High School or College Graduations. i made this party banner…

here are some close-ups shots of the details…

the Happy Easter 2012 line is done in pretty pastels with some adorable vintage images. i made this egg bedecked wreath…

and here are a few closeup shots of the eggs…

and then two fabulous travel lines, first – Expedition Destination, which is done in great neutral colors which would work well for any travel photos. for this line, i made a mini album using old family trip photos…

and finally, my favorite of the new lines – Travelogue, a gorgeous vintage-inspired line for your “cosmopoitan” desinations – new york, paris, italy and london. i made this altered cigar box to hold trip treasures…

important class info…

stamp antonio has my classes listed on 3/8. that is NOT correct! my classes will be held on march 1!

scrapbook n’ more’s calendar only shows money $aving $ketches on 2/28 UNLESS you actually click on the class, then you will see the full description. both classes, money $aving $ketches and photoFull, are being offered from 10:30 to 1:30. sign up for one or both classes and come and go as you like between those hours.

if you come with a friend or friends; please help spread the word about these corrections! i don’t want anyone to miss class!

upcoming classes…

we tried something new last month at Stamp Antonio with my monthly classes and i think it went pretty well…

charlotte has agreed to start planning the money $aving $ketches class and teach the evening class. also, we combined both classes so that you could take either or BOTH classes at either time slot. the posts below this one go into more details.

so, at this month’s class - tuesday, feb 28 - at Scrapbook N’ More in New Braunfels, I’ve decided to try combining both classes as well. you can come and go anytime between 10:30 and 1:30 and take either or both classes.

supply-wise, bring your basic kit for either class and:

20+ photos from the same event for photoFull

2 sets of 8-10 photos (need some that are croppable) of the same event or events where the colors or themes coordinate.

i’ve also got some altered book classes and a mother’s day project in the works at Stamp Antonio, Scrapbook N’ More and The Scrapbooking Factory, so stay tuned for more details on those!

classes at stamp antonio tomorrow…

hi all!

i have both monthly classes – Money $aving $ketches and PhotoFull - at Stamp Antonio tomorrow and remember we are trying something new!

you can take either or BOTH classes at EITHER class time, AM – 10:30 to 12:30 or PM – 6:00 to 8:00. i’ll be teaching the AM class and charlotte will be teaching the PM class. cost of each class is $8.

you can also stay and crop in between the two classes.

supply-wise, in addition to your basic kit you’ll need:

Money $aving $ketches: 4 cardstocks – same or 2 and 2 for background, 2 different cardstock for matting and 2 different printed papers. you’ll also need TWO sets of 8-10 photos of the same event or related events. you’ll need to be able to crop down some of the photos to 3 X 3.

PhotoFull: 2 cardstock for background, 2 different cardstocks for mats and 2 different printed papers. and this one is BIG, so you’ll need 20+ photos!

class news…

beginning in february, Charlotte Bellm will be planning the Money Saving Sketch Classes…

this will mainly affect the monthly classes at STAMP ANTONIO for the time being…

in an effort to try to free up my schedule a bit, charlotte has agreed to design and plan for the Money Saving Sketch class. the format will remain the same, create one layout, then use the leftover supplies to create another. so you’ll still get 2 – 2 page layouts using 1 set of materials – cut once get TWO! the number of photos per layout will stay the same as the guideline i’d used, 6-10 photos per each 2 page layout.

another change we are making is that you can take EITHER or BOTH classes at either class time. meaning you can now take PhotoFull in the morning if you like, or Money $aving $ketches in the evening. and if you are very industrious, you can take BOTH classes in the morning, or BOTH classes in the evening.

i will be teaching the morning class – 10:30 to 12:30 and charlotte will be teaching the evening class from 6:00 to 8:00. the classroom will also be open between the 2 classes for cropping – AS LONG AS YOU ARE TAKING ONE OF THE CLASSES. so you can take the morning class, and stay and crop and work on your layouts until the evening class, or you can come early before the evening class and get some extra crop time in. and if you’d like to make a day of it, GREAT! sign up for both classes and you can stay and play ALL DAY!

i am hoping this change will freshen up both classes and make them more enjoyable for you!

Classes at Scrapbook n’ More

i’ll be at Scrapbook n’ More for 2 classes tomorrow – hopefully a few of you signed up!

PhotoFull is up first at 10:00, and it will be a BIG one, so bring at least 20+ photos with you.

if you scroll down to the 1/11/12 post, you can get a peek at the Money Saving Sketches layouts which starts at 1:00. you’ll need about 10 photos for each of the 2 -2 page layouts we’ll do.

you get to select your own papers for BOTH of these classes – included in the $15 class fee – so your layouts will look different than mine.

call up a scrapping buddy and bring them along for a morning and or/ afternoon of scrapbooking! you’ll get a lot done in either of these classes!
