NEW Reminisce! and Sea World layout!

hi all!

sorry i haven’t been posting very often lately, things are a little hectic with the kiddos home for the summer. i haven’t had much time to create things to share!

but today, i DO have not 1, but 2 things to share with you!

first up is a Sea World layout; it is a sample page that i did at my LSS – aka Scrapbook 911 - using the new Under the Sea collection by Reminisce!

sea world layout

i haven’t had a chance to figure out which of my Sea World photos i’m going to put on it! but i have PLENTY of them to select from!

next up is a layout using another new line from Reminisce; their Signature Series #2; i used the Bath Time and Preschool papers and Bath Time stickers to create it…

just ducky - 600

the Signature Series #2 line has a total of 22 double sided papers and 30 sticker sheets in a variety of themes – some of which can be hard to find – like: baptism, confirmation, fishing, hunting, twins, paintball, recipe, adoption and performance.

hope you enjoy these projects, and hopefully i’ll be able to post some CHA sneak peeks soon!

new baby line from REMINISCE!

i hope you are enjoying all these back to back posts —- don’t get used to it! LOL!

it has been VERY hectic around here lately, lots of new products, projects and assignments – so i had LOTS to share with you! but i feel a NICE, LONG break coming on VERY soon! LOL!

today, i wanted to share a layout i made using the new BABY BASICS line by Reminisce… it’s an adorable line with cute little patterns and designs. they are just SO sweet and SO simple, it makes them very easy to mix and match quickly. and the embellies are pretty cute too! one thing they did, that i like, is that they introduced some soft creams into the mix. the shimmer papers are done in pinks and and blues; with accents that can look white or cream depending on how the light hits it. and some of the embellies are accented in cream. sometimes, it’s hard to use a line that has just white, or just cream in it because it might not work with your photos. but when the 2 colors are both in the line, things get SO much easier! and you can still get that nice crisp “fresh baby” feel.

special thanks to mike and michelle at SCRAPBOOK 911, the photo in the layout is their granddaughter kylie. thanks also to mimi for rounding up the photo for me!

i pleated the striped paper border behind the photo, and added the rick rack  to add some texture…

the “special delivery” and the stork are both stickers that are part of the collection. they are clear stickers, but not like the old clear stickers that were flimsy with a big wide border of clear around them that showed. these don’t have the border at all and they have some weight to them, which makes them easier to apply. i mounted the stork on white cardstock and cut him out.

tfl!

LOL! they were show up as the correct NUMBERS in ms word, they look like NUMBERS when i go to edit – but they are showing up on the post as smiley faces – so since i can’t seem to fix ‘em,  i’m leaving ‘em! LOL!
