hidden vintage shopping spot

thanks to a blurb in my facebook feed, i found a new browsing spot for vintage, unique & crafting finds…

BASSE ROAD EMPORIUM

i drove past it several times before i located it! lol! very unassuming on the exterior, but inside is 2 levels of what looks to be a “rabbit warren”!

one room leads to the next, a nook here, a nook there, LOTS to look at!

vintage items: pottery, clothing, accessories, glassware, ephemera and more.

original art: paintings, jewelry, objects de art, conglomerations and more!

craft items: yarn, stitchery, stamps, bits and more (only 2 or 3 booths are dedicated to crafting).

i went in thinking to make a quick stop – expecting something similar to SPARE PARTS. but spent over an hour browsing.

here’s my haul…

purchases!

vintage pottery: niloak vase $18, giraffe vase $10, leaf vase $5

ephemera: vintage empty seed packs 5/$3.50, bingo cards 20/$10.

crafts: vintage bingo numbers $1 per pack and 4 tins of 7 gypsies double clips $9.

pricing was “typical” of an “antique/craft mall”, good prices, cheap prices and some slightly high prices. i found most of the prices very reasonable.

i lool forward to returning to see what else i can discover.

here’s a look at some of the treasures i left behind! lol!

please leave a comment; i'd love to hear from you!
