kits!

hello…

i’ve had a box of kits at Scrapbook n’ More for quite awhile, but i haven’t added to it in quite awhile!

this sunday, while i’m toting all my stuff for my Texas book class, i’ll be also taking a bunch of kits!

most are priced $5 to $6, a few that have more goodies are priced a little higher. there are even kits that are finished and ready for photos.

you can find the kits in a black box on the sale table to the right of the entrance to the crop room.

charlotte has a nice display of kits as well at the back of the store.

so if you are in the market for some quick and easy scrapbook kits, be sure to check them out!

here’s some pics of what I am bringing. there are multiples of most kits, but a few are singles…

{don’t mess with texas} altered book class THIS sunday!!!

hello!

my {don’t mess with texas} DE-constructed altered book class THIS sunday!!!

i was at Scrapbook n’ More yesterday, and i think the book class is full but there were a few frame kits unspoken for. if you were interested in either class, please call Scrapbook n’ More at (830) 214-1690 to sign up or for more info. although the book class is “wait list” only, it doesn’t hurt to get on it – there may be a last minute cancellation.

you can find the supply list for the class here: SUPPLY LIST, it is also posted on the Scrapbook n’ More’s facebook page.

you can find the supply lists for my classes, usually at least a week before the class, on the right sidebar of my blog, right under my photo. the list is headed as “class photos, descriptions and supplies”. just click on the class you are interested in and scroll through the page there to find all the class info.

if you are attending the class, remember that the store will be opening at 1:00, so if you’d like to come a little early and shop, please do! Scrapbook n’ More has LOTS of new CHA release goodies. and they also carry the Paper Wings Production stamps from Carrie Avery that we will be using in the class.

looking forward to the class!

thanks,

february’s photoFULL & Money $aving $ketches classes

hello!

this month’s photoFULL & money $aving $ketches classes will be held on tuesday, february 24 from 10:30 to 1:30 at Scrapbook n’ More in new braunfels…

here are some snippets of the layouts…

photoFULL: another BIG ONE! we are continuing with PAGE PROTECTOR months! during january, february and march photoFULL classes, i’ll be showing you how to get MORE photos on your pages using some of the different page protectors that are out there. if you have christmas photos still to crop, this is a good layout for them! this one holds about 20+ photos a mix of verticals and horizontals – you’ll use 12 horizontals in the page protector portion, and not much cropping of photos unless you want to. ALSO – a BONUS layout you can do using a few extra cardstocks and the leftover printed paper from the layout!

february pf - layout w protect - BLOG (1280x382)

money $aving $ketches: layouts hold 6-7 photos each and use a mix of horizontal or vertical photos. some photos that can be cropped to 4 X 4 are good for these layouts.

february - M$$ layout 1 BLOG (1280x344)

february - M$$ layout 2 BLOG (1280x341)

you can find more info on these two class series by clicking on: CLASS INFO PHOTOFULL or CLASS INFO MONEY $AVING $KETCHES.

you can take these classes at the following locations…

you can attend one or both of these classes on tuesday, february 24, from 10:30 to 1:30 at Scrapbook N’ More in new braunfels

please call (830) 214-1690 for more info or to sign up. cost of EACH class is $15 and does include your choice of $5 in supplies. if you do decide to come last minute or if you just didn’t sign up – that is not a problem – PLEASE STILL COME!

Linda Norman is also be teaching this class at her home

Linda has been taking my classes for awhile, and was nice enough to offer to teach these classes for those of you who liked them, but can’t make it out to new braunfels. Linda will be working a month behind… for instance, the PF and M$$ classes i am teaching for february at Scrapbook N’ More, will be offered by Linda in march. you can contact Linda at: scrappytherapy@satx.rr.com to sign up or for more information.

“don’t mess with texas” DE-constructed book class

i have spent ALL day tracking down items to use to put together a few more book kits!

i was able to track down the few charms i was missing, found milk caps in the right color, a way to make some more “lone star beer” bottle caps (apparently I should have sold the ones i used in the book on ebay!), printed some more postcards, tracked down conchos, made some CD pockets, was lucky enough that the guy at the flea market still had some metal diecut texas shapes, bought more jeans AND found this cool leather belt to use instead of the barrette pieces…

IMG_5437
can you believe that the belt even has red, white and blue dots?!

the only thing I haven’t been able to lay my hands on are the vintage rodeo ribbons. i may have to substitute plain ones. and there may be one or two paper mat swaps, but i think all and all, the changed items will be comparable to the “original”.

i’ll call Scrapbook N’More tomorrow to let them know how many more kits I can add.

i also found a few more scrabble games, so i can add a few of the frame kits as well.

but FAIR WARNING! this is IT!!! so please call Scrapbook n’ More to get on the waitlist if you are not already on it.

many thanks!
tami

“don’t mess with texas” DE-constructed altered book

WOW! the response to the “don’t mess with texas” DE-constructed altered book class has been OVERWHELMING!

i am TRYING to find more supplies in order to put together a few more books.

there will be some substitutions, but i’m trying to find comparable items.

i was out early this morning scouring the flea market!

if you are NOT already signed up for this class and ARE interested in it…

PLEASE call Scrapbook n’ More at (830) 214-1690 to get on the waitlist!!!

we will go down the waitlist, adding in as many students as we can, in the order of sign ups.

it doesn’t matter if you plan on attending the class or just want a kit; you need to be on the waitlist.

if for some reason you have changed your mind about taking the class and plan to cancel; please do so as soon as you can so that we can add others to the class.

thanks again for the GREAT BIG TEXAS response!!!

tami

Clearsnap & Ann Butler Blog Hop!

Ann Butler Clearsnap Blog Hop 2015

Welcome to a LOVEly blog hop with Clearsnap and Ann Butler Designs! Last month at the CHA trade show, we released a new collection of foam and rubber stamps with Ann Butler Designs, called Background Basics, to compliment her line of ColorBox Crafter’s Inks and her existing faux quilting stamp lines. Today, our teams are sharing Valentine craft ideas you can make tonight for your special someone for Valentine’s Day.

hello! you have arrived at my blog – tami sanders * paper crafter, on your hop with Clearsnap and Ann Butler!

if you just stumbled upon the hop, please check out the list below so you can start at the beginning.

i’d like to share my “gifty” Valentine project with you. this {LOVE} banner can be used for decor, gifting or BOTH…

love banner - ann butler,colorbox,clearsnap,crafter's ink,blog hop,valentine,love,tami sanders - WM

the banner was made by stamping denim and canvas with the…

NEW! Ann Butler ColorBox Background Basics Stamps, ColorBox Crafter’s Inks and Art Screens.

the stamped pieces were cut apart and adhered to chipboard to mimic little quilted bits. the white denim jeans i was cutting apart for fabric had adorable little pink stitched hearts on the pockets, so i decided to use one of the pockets in the banner. you could make 4 hearts if you don’t have a pocket handy.

to make this banner a gift, write a love note or coupon for dinner, movie, etc on the tag in the pocket. if you are’t using the pocket, just make one or ALL of the chipboard hearts into a pocket by adding another chipboard heart to the back of each and leave the top open.

i’ve put together a Snapguide that lists all the supplies and step-by-step directions – with photos that you need to make this banner yourself…

Check out this guide on Snapguide

Now click-along to each blog in the hop and leave a comment on each post. Then, use the Rafflectoper widget at the end of this post to win an assortment of Ann Butler Designs’ new Background Basics stamps with Clearsnap!
