another NEW line has been introduced over on the REMINISCE BLOG!
its a new HALLOWEEN line called: THE HALLOWEEN COLLECTION! i LOVE this line! i collect vintage holiday items, and this line reminds me SO MUCH Of vintage halloween decor from the 40’s. the colors are black, cream and orange, and the design elements are all classic halloween – black cats, witches, spiders and MORE!
so, i tried to pay homage to that fabulously classic era of All Hallows Eve decor in my project — a trick or treat bucket…
the “trim” along the top of the bucket was made by randomly pleating torn strips of paper. lots of decor items from the 40’s were embellished with crimped or pleated tissue and crepe paper, so i wanted to include that design element in the project.
so, sneak on over to the Reminisce blog and take a peek and BE SURE to leave a comment so you can be entered to win a prize pack!
and, just for fun, why don’t you post a comment here about what you think i used as a base for my project?
GORGEOUS! I love all things altered and this ‘thing’ is AWESOME!!! Definitely gonna’ lift this one!!
I think you did an amazing job! It is FABULOUS!!
