i got to spend the day at the scrapbook store today!
i DID spend the first half of it teaching, but i was out of the house! i’d been worried that i’d be trapped in the house due to the weather, or have to contend with driving in heavy winds and rains, but it was sunshiny bright most of the day. fortunately, ike didn’t wreak as much havoc as it could have, although those near the coast probably wish it had left them alone completely.
i taught my recipe mini album first… a nice, friendly group of ladies came and we had a great time chatting away while we put the album together. we stamped, we played with the new clearsnap rollagraph, we painted, and played with pens. it’s not a “tami” class unless you get messy! LOL! everyone’s book turned out great, and hopefully they will all enjoy trying to fill it up with their “family favorite” recipes! i do have some kits left for this class, so e-mail me if you are interested!
next, i did a make & take for Reminisce. the project was a page topper and it featured the new MAKING THE GRADE line. we had quite a few gals come in for that, and the stickers were flying, most made it on the project! LOL!
the last class was a frame and chalkboard set that again featured the MAKING THE GRADE line. of course we got messy in that class too! All the frames turned out well. it was nice to see everyone’s “take” on the project and they were all a little different.
then, after i cleaned up from my day of teaching (and i had a PILE of stuff to clean up!) i got to crop for awhile.
so all in all, a pretty good day!
always a good day when scrappin is involved:)
I lol at its not a “Tami” class unless you get messy hahahaha You should see my scrap room right now. eyeyiyi!
