well it took a little longer than i had hoped, but i FINALLY set up a gallery with some of the sights at CHA!
Some of the pics are NOT as nice as i’d like – sorry – my camera went on the fritz right before the trip so i borrowed my dad’s. i used the same settings that i usually use on mine, and the pics looked nice in the little preview pane, but they aren’t as great as i had thought they were!
i also found that i didn’t take pics in a few of the booths that i thought for SURE i had! LOL! i guess that’s what happens when you are surrounded by SO much to look at!
i had a great time at the show, it was nice to be able to wander around at my leisure, chat with online friends in person, do a make and take or two and just LOOK AT ALL THE COOL STUFF! i’ve enjoyed working the shows in the past, but just being a “view-ee” made for a nice change!
so, click HERE to check out my pics from cha! for the best viewing, click on “slideshow” at the top of the page at Picasa! i hope you enjoy the show! be sure to come back though and see some of my favorite things from the show! i’ll talk about them BELOW!
and now that you are back from the gallery, here are a few of my favorite things from the show…
first, my FAVORITE booth had to be the B LINE DESIGNS booth, they had some GORGEOUS products and SPECTACULAR projects! most of you know i LOVE vintage, so this line was right up my alley! lol!
i had 2 favorite “new” lines:
first i discovered GRAPHIC 45 upstairs with the “established” vendors, so it couldn’t have been their first show, but they were new to me! this is one booth that i am KICKING myself that i don’t have pics of. i vaguely remember that the booth was packed so i meant to go by later and take pics – but i guess i forgot! their projects were FABULOUS! they must have VERY talented designers. i wanted EVERYTHING in their booth! so, since i forgot to take pics, you’ll just have to check out their site.
next i ran across the G.C.D. booth downstairs with the new vendors. i liked the colors and styles of their paper so check out their site for closeups of their collection…
now, let’s see, how about some FANTASTIC projects…
from BASIC GREY, here’s a cute little shadowbox, check out the unique legs…
and how about this unique little “cogsmo” project from COSMO CRICKET…
and here’s a “home-y” little item from HEIDI GRACE…
i thought this card from DAISY BUCKET was a clever use of punched circles…
and now, for some of my favorite NEW THINGS from the show!
cupcake from BASIC GREY is just as cute and bright as it can be…
and i loved COSMO CRICKET’s cogsmo line…
and i thought their new BLACKBOARD was a fresh approach to chipboard…
then i found a few things at FANCY PANTS…
glitter cuts…
and new CLEAR STUFF – including a tabbed mini album!
next, for a little BLING, i followed the glow to GLITZ…
and found some really cute EYE CANDY…
then, i saw some new things at LI’L DAVIS, and i especially liked their embossed felt embellies…
next i stopped in at LUXE to say hello to pam, and found a few fun things in her booth!
these bright and bold transparancies…
and some new ribbons…
and i found quite a few things i liked at MAYA ROAD…
cute and colorful acrylic pieces…
fun flowers in quite a variety of styles…
lots of fun chipboard shapes…
and lots of great ribbons; some in diecut felts!
PRIMA had lots of fun new things too…
gorgeous diecut pieces…
acrylic pieces…
blank mini albums in lots of sizes and styles…
some cool overlays…
and some new BLING!
REMINISCE has some new 3D embellies for you traveling types – they are called JET SETTERS…
RUSTY PICKLE had some fun “color me” papers…
and finally, SEI caught my attention with some RETRO iron ons!
well, i guess that’s it! i’m outa photos! i hope you enjoyed these highlights, i wish i could have taken TONS more photos to share with ya’ll! guess you’ll have to wait and see what shows up at YOUR lss! (PSST! for you local gals – mimi told me michelle ordered “EVERYTHING”! LOL! we’ll have to see if she really did!)
Hey Tami, thanks for all the peeks at stuff I didn’t get to see during the show! Thanks for coming by to say hi!
