long overdue…

my poor neglected blog…

nothing new added in almost a month! i just can’t seem to get ahead lately! i’d like to say that things will be changing soon, but i can’t. there are a lot of projects on my plate still ahead, both personally and professionally. so i’m not quite sure i see daylight yet!

but, i will try to at least do better at keeping my class calendar current and providing info about them. i do have some NEW announcements on that front.

FIRST – my mom & me classes.  i have one last MOM & ME “OUR DAY OUT” class coming up. it was a special class offered over the summer where BOTH the moms and kids EACH get to make a project. this month, the theme is “back to school”! the kiddos are going to make an altered clipboard to hold their class photo. they can keep it for themselves, or add their teacher’s name for a PERFECT back to school gift for their teacher! the mom’s will get to make a 2 page “back to school” layout…

also coming up are 2 “regular” mom and me classes…

on august 21st, we’ll be making a shadowbox for grandparents – which will make a wonderful gift for them on Grandparent’s Day, which is coming up on sept. 12. 

then, on sept 11, we’ll be making a set of 6 all occasion cards that the kids will be proud to send! 5 of the cards will already be designed for them – everything cut and ready to put together – but for the last card, they’ll be able to design it themselves with the help of a free Basic Grey stamp included with the class!

AND, i also have 2 other announcements about some long standing classes, SKETCH & CROP and PHOTOFULL…

starting in september SKETCH & CROP is getting a facelift, it will now be called SIMPLE SKETCHES! we’ll still be focused on getting MORE large size photos on a 2 page layout, but the sketches will be more streamlined and simple. just great basic sketches that you will want to use again and again.

and also beginning in september, PHOTFULL will be offered as an afternoon class as well! the nitetime class is BURSTING at the seams, so i’m hoping that a few of you nightime “photofuller’s” will make the switch to the afternoon. if you are currently taking the class and find that afternoons are more convenient, please come join us then. or, if you haven’t been able to make the class at nite, but afternoons work better for you, please come give it a try! and no need to come to BOTH classes as the afternoon class will be the EXACT same class!
