hello!
i have a new class to introduce! “french country” recipe binder…
in this class we will be deconstructing {a nice way of saying TEARING UP} a vintage book and transforming it into a recipe binder. and for those of you have taken my altered book classes before – this is NOTHING like my altered book classes! this is something totally NEW!
so if you have a big stash of clipped recipes, or have been wanting to document some of your family’s favorite recipes, this class is for you! the binder can hold a TON of recipes, and you’ll have space to make comments or notes about the recipes too. there are 7 sections in the binder: appetizers, soups & salads, main dishes, side dishes, breads, desserts and beverages.
the “recipes” title piece on the cover, and the divider tabs were all designed and custom made for this project. they are made from a special, printable shrink film made by GRAFIX and have the feel of a matte clay when finished.
we’ll also be using some products from CLEARSNAP to embellish the binder. ColorBox Chalk Inks tint the shrink plastic pieces, the Jumbo Rollagraph and Jumbo Design Wheel, Watermark Ink and Top Boss Clear Embossing Powder will add a subtle pattern and dimension to the title pages that were also designed specially for this project. and Smooch Illuminate, that will add some glimmer and shine to the cover.
the class will be held at SCRAPBOOK N’ MORE in New Braunfels on saturday, june 8 from 1:30 to 5:00, cost is $35. space for this class is limited, so please sign up early if you are interested. you can sign up or get more information by calling Scrapbook n’ More at (830) 214-1690.
thanks!
Is it possible to buy a kit?
Tami, Hi! Any chance of doing this class @ Stamp Antonio?
