those of you who know me, know i love all things vintage, and that includes Graphic 45.
Graphic 45 takes inspirations, influences and images from the past and gives them new life in their papers and embellishments.
i have thought about trying out for their design team for several years now. i use G45 products in many of my classes, particularly in my altered book class series. this year, i decided i was going to do more than just THINK about trying out for the team, i was going to actually DO it! i did make the mistake of checking out the other entrants audition blog posts – that almost scared me off! there are some FABULOUS artists out there doing some AMAZING things with G45. me, i’m a crafter, not an artist, but i’m proud to be crafty.
as part of the submission process, i need to show 6 projects that i have designed, preferably created with G45 products. finding projects i done featuring G45 lines was easy, deciding WHICH 6 projects to show was the hard part!
the following projects are the 6 i decided to present, but if you’d like to see a few more of my G45 projects, you can view them here. please click on any picture to enlarge it…
“STEAMPUNK SPELLS” halloween altered book featuring G45’s Steampunk Spells papers…
“FRENCH COUNTRY” recipe binder featuring G45’s French County papers…
“BOHO CHIC” acrylic mini album featuring G45’s Bohemian Bazaar papers…
“IN THE GARDEN” altered book featuring G45’s Secret Garden papers…
“STEAMPUNK TIME TRAVELER” halloween layout featuring G45’s Happy Haunting papers…
“BY THE SEA” altered book featuring G45’s Tropical Travelogue papers…
all of these projects, with the exception of the “steampunk time traveler” layout, were designed for classes. Graphic 45’s mix of small and large prints in their papers as well as their great “cut-a-ble” sheets, make them a favorite of mine for classes.
thank you to Graphic 45 for their consideration…
Are you going to do a class on those?
OMGosh, Tami… AMAZING!!! When did you do the time traveler? That’s not the one coming up that you’re doing is it? I love the time traveler… do you still have a kit for that???
Kathy
P.S. I also love the recipe one… but I may have that kit… don’t know for sure.
Great projects! Best of luck to you.
i did the time traveler layout about a year ago. unfortunately it was just a personal layout i did, not a kit.
all the projects except for the time traveler layout were from past classes; but i dont have any kits left for any of them – sorry. the time traveler layout was a personal layout that i did.
Tami, your work is bright and fun! Thank you for sharing your talent with G45 for our DT Call. Well done.
Beautiful! Good luck :)
Smiles
Jen
Oh who is kidding who… I will need them all and those stencils too!
