this week is teacher appreciation week, what do you have planned for your kiddo’s teachers?
chris’ teacher LOVES hedgehogs, so when i ran across some hedgehog paper awhile back i snagged it!
we decided to make chris’ teacher a set for her desk – a composition book and a pencil cup. the composition book was easy to cover, just trace covers onto paper, cut out and glue. washi tape was used to embellish, and chris made a name plate from cardstock in word.
for the pencil cup, we cut the top off a plastic jar that had fruit in it. A strip of paper and washi tape trim were quick and easy to apply as well…
chris cut out a hedgehog and matted it in coordination cardstock and then adhered it to a 5 x 5 white cardstock card…
i embellished a gift bag to match using more cut out hedgehogs and washi tape. a mini tag was attached with ribbon…
it took us under an hour to make this gift set, and it was inexpensive as well! i hope chris’ teacher LOVES it!!!
and CHRIS!
