another productive retreat!

i spent another productive weekend at jane’s scrap2u retreat!

i finished 14 two-pagers and 3-one pagers; not too bad for 3 days of cropping. of course a few if those were duplicates as i keep a book for each of my 2 kids.

here’s some of the layouts…

and here’s my personal favorite — since i got to do a “girly” layout. this layout has it all! banners, washi tape, brackets, flowers and rhinestones! you name it, i put it on there!

the chipboard bracket was inked using a blend of 2 Izink Inks from Clearsnap, then distressing it with a file. Izinks are a hybrid of pigment ink and acrylic paint. they are GORGEOUS! check ’em out.

i even managed to get my layouts for my july PhotoFULL and M$$ classes done! ahead yay! here are snippets of the M$$ class layouts…

and where did i hide 15+ photos on this layout? come try the photoFULL class and find out! and heads up to regulars, bring lots of photos! this layout is ALL about them, not much printed paper or embellies – just lots and lots of photos!

jane offers her retreats monthly; only $45 and an extra $10 if you want to start at 10am instead of 6pm on fridays. you get a nice, big table too. lots of friendly gals to crop with as well.

i’m hoping to be at the september retreat, but there are retreats scheduled for july and august. unfortunately i have classes scheduled to teach those weekends :(
