hi all!
yesterday was grandparent’s day and i wanted to make a special gift for my mom.
at easter, i’d taken portraits of the boys and wanted to incorporate them into the project. i found an 8 X 8 white scalloped clipboard at CKC and decided to embellish it and add the photos to it.
here is a pic of the finished project…
i made it in under an hour using supplies i had on hand: printed paper, flowers, ribbons and trim, washi tape, rhinestones, chipboard letters and a few simple tools.

this project is easy enough that your kiddos could help make it or you could gussy it up to make it a little more elaborate. great do-ahead gift idea for the holidays. you could also make it without the photos so the recipient could add their own.
i think it would also be a nifty decor piece if done in a seasonal theme for halloween, thanksgiving or christmas.
