i have some great projects and pics i’d like to share with you…
first, it’s always nice to see what you “creatives” make using things learned in my classes. delia recently sent me a FABULOUS sports themed altered book that she made for her nephew. she just recently gifted him with it and she said he first question was “how long did it take you to make this?”. how NICE that her nephew truly understood and appreciated what an amazing labor of love the book was.
delia, amazingly, has only taken my altered book classes by “kit”, she hasn’t been able to actually come to class. FAB to know that it CAN be done through directions alone – guess MY time spent on the directions is worthwhile and appreciated as well!
delia generously agreed to let me share her awesome project with you, so take a look…
on may 21, i held a monoprinting workshop using the new MONOPRINT PLATES by Grafix…
monoprinting is fun to do and there are a VARIETY of great techniques to create unique designs and papers and embellishments to use on all your papercrafting.
and DecoArt…
along with Grafix supplied some of our products to play with in the class.
here are some pics from the class, everyone had their own “clothesline” to hang the prints they made up to dry – and let me tell you – everyone made LOTS of prints! good, messy fun was had by all. click on pics to enlarge and enable “scroll through”view…
susan at Scrapbook n’ More still had a few of the Monoprint Plates in stock if you would like to check them out or pick a set up!
i have some other personal projects i’d like to share, but i’ll save them for another post!
Loved seeing what everyone’s creating! They’re awesome because of a great teacher!😊
Thanks karen!
