reminder…

just a quick reminder about my class this saturday, july 9th at the Heirloom Productions Stamp & Paper Arts Festival in new braunfels…

i will be teaching a class during the Heirloom Productions Rubber Stamp & Paper Arts Festival in New Braunfels.

the show runs the weekend of july 9th and 10th, and my class will be from 1-3* on saturday. *(updated time)

carrie avery, owner of Paper Wings Productions, is sponsoring the class and we will be using her fabulous stamps and clip art embellishments during the class.

we will be using LOTS of other great products and inks in the class too…

ColorBox Pigment Ink, Dye Ink and Chalk Ink, ColorBox Spritzers, ColorBox Embossing Powder, ColorBox Stylus & Tips as well as the NEW! ColorBox Pearl Rain Spray, all provided by Clearsnap, will add color, texture and some BLiNg to your stamping. while Zip Dry and 3-in-1 Glue, provided by Beacon Adhesives, will be used to assemble your projects.

here’s what we will be making…

we will be learning a variety of stamping techniques in this class including: using stamps, inks and sprays to create background designs, how to add layering and texture to your projects, an easy stamped ombre effect, what to do with ink left on stamps or surfaces, distressing and heat embossing.

although this is a 2 hour class, the first half will be devoted to stamping and inking all pieces, while the second half will be assembly. so if you prefer to finish your piece at home, you can leave after the first half and get back to the show!

tickets for the show are available online in advance at Heirloom Productions,  you can also purchase advance tickets at Scrapbook n’ More in New Braunfels. tickets can also be purchased at the door for a slightly higher rate.
