i’ve got one more valentine’s day class that i will be teaching…
{so sweet} altered tray…
this project starts off with a tray full of domino shaped wood pieces. the pieces are then covered with photos and LOTS and LOTS of embellishments: metal, ribbon, lace, flowers, buttons, chipboard, bakers twine, stickers, pages from romance novels, goodies from maya roads and trinkets and treasures from my stash.
here’s a collage with closeups of some of the details…
while putting this project together, you’ll also learn a few techniques that you can use on your scrapbooking or other papercrafts. we’ll be playing with inks and more from Clearsnap: ColorBox Archival Dye Inks, Chalk and Pigment Inks, Stephanie Barnard Dye Ink Sprays, Sprinkles! Chunky Glitter and stencils from The Crafter’s Workshop.
the date and deets for this class haven’t been finalized yet, but it will probably be scheduled towards the end of january. the class will be held at Scrapbook n’ More in new braunfels.
this project is perfect for a gift or to keep, for friends, family or romances – you’ll be able to customize it to your purpose. i used photos of my son and his girlfriend taken before their homecoming dance.
stayed tuned or better yet – subscribe to my blog for updates on this class. i’ll be posting all the details as soon as i get them!
thanks,
