WHEW!
both BIG altered book classes are behind me! they are SO much work and SO much fun!
this is the first year i have done 2 MAJOR books so close together and it was a REAL challenge to get everything done.

i had a few kits halloween kits and 1 christmas kit that hadn’t been spoken for and i left them with susan at Scrapbook N’ More saturday. i also left the sample books for viewing.

i’ve been gathering things for a Texas altered book, been searching – without much luck yet – for items and papers for dog and cat books, and considering a mother’s day book. there were also a few requests during the christmas altered book class for another valentine’s day book – but not sure if there is enough interest in that or not – LET ME KNOW! it might be a good theme to do a DE-constructed book on.
coming up on november 8 will be 2 events…
first, i’m doing an altered canvas class at Scrapbook N’ More using stencils from the Crafter’s Workshop, lots of inky goodness and more from Clearsnap and teaching you techniques to transform a plain white canvas into a unique decor piece for yourself or for gifting {holidays are RIGHT around the corner!}
i am trying to get the sample canvas finished early this week – so keep an eye out for more info.
then – after the class from 5:00 to 11:00 – you’ve asked for it and you’ve got it! a crop hosted by me! you can bring your unfinished altered books, photoFULL and M$$ layouts or anything else you’d like me to help you with. cost is $10, but if you sign up and pay by wednesday, oct 5 – you’ll get $5 to spend saturday night! susan needs at least 6 people to sign up for the crop in order for it to make – so if you are interested, PLEASE plan to sign up early! and why wouldn’t you sign up at least by the 5th – you get a FREE $5 to shop with!
