exciting news! ckc san marcos!

for those of you who might not have heard, CKC is coming back to san marcos this september!

september 10-11 to be exact. and registration opens tomorrow, june 2.

with no scrapbook stores within a 200 mile radius, it will be nice to be able to attend an event and shop, crop, take classes and hopefully see some old friends i’ve been missing!

when i heard that CKC would be returning to san marcos, i contacted them to see if i could teach a class or two. AND… the answer was YES!

so i will be teaching 2 classes, each offered both on friday and saturday.

the first class will be familiar to some of you – it’s a Photo-Full class with 2 – 2 page layouts with “disguised spaces” for MORE photos and a bonus one page. themes will be halloween and christmas…

in addition to putting together the christmas layout. we’ll talk about ways to turn almost any “traditional” layout into a Photo-Full one. these techniques are a great way to get more photos on your layout without compromising your design “style”.

the second class is one using a BRAND spanking new product from Clear Scraps; their new Frameables. we’ll be making a base and frame that will work with 2 different themes: Welcome – suitable for year round and Fall – for – well, fall!

all the Frameables pieces are wood and are made here in the good ol’ USA. it’s a fun new concept and i’m excited to be able to offer this class using them.

i’m also VERY excited to be given this opportunity to teach!

i’m hoping that many of you scrappers and paper crafters out there have been missing the chance to crop and shop as much as i have and that CKC san marcos will be a well attended event! because we want them to come back! RIGHT?
