hiya,
any football fans out there? or are you one of those who is glad football season is over and your house can get back to normal sundays?
i fall in the former category; as a newish fan of the game. the last 2 seasons i’ve become hooked watching all 3 games EVERY sunday and EVERY weeknight game as well.
yeah, i know, comes as a surprise to me as well, wish the football bug had bitten while my dad was still around. none of us would watch the Dallas Cowboys with him, and we all walked on eggshells if the cowboys lost that day as he got GROUCHY! LOL!
my family has embraced my new fascination with the game, buying me hats, shirts and assorted football “stuff”. and last mother’s day they really went all out and got me tickets to the Cowboys vs Texans game last august. doubly great cause i like the Houston Texans as well; especially JJ Watt. i’m all about the defense, give me a good tackle! LOL!
so, when i opened my box from Clear Scraps last month and found a 6X8 Blank Wood Album and a Nested 2 Piece Wood Star, i knew just what to make…
a mini album of pics from the game. I used the Blank Wood Album from Clear Scraps for the cover, then made chipboard pages using chipboard from Grafix. The 2 Piece Wood Star was separated and used for the title on the book. Paint, printed papers, stickers and stamped journaling spots were used to embellish the book.
if you’d like to take a closer look, please check out this short 1 minute video…
if you look close, you can see pics of my favorite player, Leighton Vander Esch #55, he has his own page in my book. his birthday is today, so happy birthday LVE! yeah, don’t say it. i’m fine, don’t need counseling or intervention ;)
here’s a few pics of us at the game, all decked out in Cowboys gear; the boys are wearing dad’s old Cowboys shirts…i
it was a really great trip and a fantastic game – Cowboys trounced the Texans, sorry JJ.
