it’s TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK!
and i’ve known that for at least a few weeks, but did i plan ahead? well maybe a little … but did i follow through? somewhat … do my kid’s teachers have anything in hand yet to let them know that they are appreciated? that would be a negative!
i had the BEST of intentions – i even started making teacher cards on NSD saturday, and i finished 8 of them. i thought 8 was all i needed, but then drew said he wanted to give cards to 8 teachers! so the 3 i had earmarked for chris’ teachers got taken! LOL! so then, i had to make cards for chris’ teachers. but that wasn’t a problem either – i finished them on monday, i just forgot to bring them home with me, and i forgot again tuesday, and forgot again today – but i made myself go BACK and get them today. i figured i’d have ALL week to make sure that the kiddos actually saw all their teachers and had a chance to give them their cards, but now it’s going on thursday and none of the cards has made it to the school yet. let’s hope i remember to have the kids tuck them in their backpacks tomorrow! wanna take bets? LOL!
so – if you are like me and haven’t quite completed your “thank you assignment” yet, here are a few cards to help inspire you to create your own, or scraplift mine. i have to admit that the apple card isn’t quite ALL mine, i scraplifted part of a design from a nov issue of cards, so feel free to lift what you like!

i colored the stamps in using Primsacolor pencils; i’m quickly getting addicted to those things! it’s like coloring for grownups! LOL!
