Now that you have all the “deets”, onto the project!

Since a lot of my “viewers” are scrapbookers, I decided to do a 2 page layout…

I started with the idea of a scattering of different sized squares in a mix of patterns. The Surf N Swim collection has so many great papers, I wanted to use as many of them as I could. I also wanted to add in a few coordinating papers that I made using white cardstock and ColorBox Pigment Ink. Some of the designs were stamped straight on the white cardstock squares while others  were stamped on backgrounds tinted using ColorBox Pigment Inks applied with Stylus & Tip.

The background kraft cardstocks looked a little plain, so I used a template from Crafter’s Workshop and ColorBox Pigment Ink, again applied using the Stylus & Tip, to add some random designs.

The photos are framed with printed paper and cardstock sticker strips from Trinity Paper Arts.

The title was stamped on some white denim that was cut from an old pair of jeans. It was spritzed using several Colors of Smooch Spritz, then the title was stamped with ColorBox Pigment Ink.

  1. Fantastic page! Love the patterned squares & fun chicken wire print.

  2. What a great start to the blog hop. This was a wonderful layout and I loved the extra touches with the embossing and stamping of plain papers. Great job. Looks great.

  3. I love these pages it almost looks dimentional the way the blocks on top like they are flying across.. all the papers look so nice with the precious girl looking like she’s just tossed them up.

  4. I love these two pages..the flying colorful blocks almost look dimensional..the pretty girl looks like she’s touch them up in the air..great pages.

  5. What a great layout. I am a new scrapbooker so am always happy to see fun ideas. I like the squares of paper and the colors!
