thanksgiving card…

thanksgiving is one holiday i don’t always think about making and sending cards for.

but i don’t know why not. it is the perfect time to let the people in your life know how much you appreciate them. your family, friends, neighbors, teachers, doctors, nurses or anyone else whose presence in your life you are grateful for.

take a few minutes to jot down your thoughts and thanks and give someone’s day a little lift.

This card was simple and easy to pull together thanks to Clear Scraps’ Chipboard Pumpkins Embellishment…

thanksgiving card

i used Distress Crayons smoothed with water to color the stems and vines. i also used an orange crayon to color the open pumpkin, which i backed with a printed paper scrap. i covered the solid pumpkin with a coordinating paper.

the card base was made from kraft cardstock, then embellished with some leftover printed paper scraps & sticker.

who are YOU grateful for? make a list and get crafting!

please leave a comment; i'd love to hear from you!
